Help with any daily living needs

Our home care service can help your loved one with any daily living needs. This can include helping them to learn about healthy food options and learning how to cook and prepare meals. Picture Exchange System (PECS) can be used to create easy to follow guides. It is also vital to be aware of sensory needs and the importance of the sensory diet. Our home care provision can help your loved one to remain as independent as possible with their personal care needs.

Help with appointments

You will probably have many appointments to attend, including the GP, specialists such as a dietician or Speech and Language Therapist etc. Our home care support can help to support you and your loved one during these visits, including any home visits. We are there to support you in caring for your loved one.

A companion service

People with autism are incredibly vulnerable when outside of the home and their known environment. That is why a companion service is so very valuable. A companion can go with your loved one on a shopping trip, for a meal out and to meet friends. This means that they can continue to socialise and explore the world in a safe way.

Respite care

Finally, there is also respite care for carers of individuals with additional needs such as autism. We all need time out for ourselves. It may be just having the chance to go for a swim by yourself or to meet up with friends. You may need respite to have a night away or to just have a few hours to yourself. Respite services are adapted to you and your needs.
